Okay shared hosting, slow migration

Já usei os dois. O NVMe é notavelmente mais rápido para I/O, especialmente se tiveres muitas operações de leitura/escrita na base de dados. Para sites com muito tráfego e muitos acessos à DB, a diferença é brutal.

A principal diferença é mesmo a tecnologia de armazenamento. O NVMe é baseado em SSDs mais recentes e diretos, o Cloud VPS pode usar armazenamento mais tradicional (mas ainda assim rápido). Para a maioria dos casos, o Cloud VPS já é suficiente, mas se precisas de cada milissegundo, NVMe é o caminho.

From my experience, most of those 'free domain' or big discount deals are for new customers and the first year only. Renewals usually go back to regular price, or maybe a smaller discount if you catch a specific promo.

Yeah, pretty much what the other person said. Always check the fine print, but generally, first-year only for the big savings. I had a free .pt domain for the first year, then it was standard price after that.

They're a known Portuguese provider. Been around for a bit. Not some fly-by-night operation if that's what you're asking. I've had a shared hosting plan with them for about 8 months and no major issues.

Eu fiz essa mudança há uns 6 meses e notei uma diferença brutal na velocidade do site. Se tens um site com algum tráfego ou precisas de mais recursos, compensa muito. O NVMe é outra liga.

Depende do teu uso, Diogo. Se é um blog simples, talvez não notes tanto. Mas para aplicações mais pesadas ou com bases de dados grandes, a latência do NVMe faz toda a diferença.
